wow.... the 2nd shot is beautiful. Just wondering: did you shoot it in this angle to give it 3 dimensions coz usually this posture is shot straight-on flat to show form.
My shooting angle for most of my dance work is straight on. I have been using a large and soft lightbank called the Octabank for most of the shots. But I shot the 2nd image using a smaller light bank from high up for a more dramatic effect. It is the lighting and not the angle that creates the 3-dimensionality in the image.
I am a portrait photographer. I am inspired by photographs that go beyond the literal documentation of what a person looks like. I want to show something about the condition of a person or what is inside the person. That is my daily challenge.
