Mia
When I first got back from Chicago, Mia, an actress, wanted to do some head shots and I wanted to do some test shots. So here we are. Sometimes I find the 2x3 format of digital too long for portraits. I have found ways to make it work sometimes. Sometimes, like this time, it is better to crop the image to 4x5.

Rajasthan Images
Just a note that I have put some of my Rajasthan photos onto my Flickr site. I have applied the camera calibrations to the images on the Flickr site and they do look much better.

Kheng Ju
Kheng Ju is a wonderful portrait photographer who uses an 8x10 camera to shoot polaroids. The only photographer in Singapore I know who does this. This portrait was shot in her house and her dog is named Max.
I took this potrait on my 5D. I also shot off a few frames of black and white and colour slide on my 4x5 camera. I will post a comparative photo as soon as I can. The polaroids from the camera got me real excited. Focussing issues on the 5D caused me a lot of grief.

Mark Tay
Mark Tay came visited the studio the night before I shoot for the Breast Feeding Mother's support group. I got a few shots off to show him what I was doing.

Miss Pryde's Response
My taste does not always agree with my model's. Miss Pryde's preferred photo over my choice. I nearly trashed this actually.

Photographer Entangled
Ok. The response to the texture on Kiampa's portrait on pondmusings was not great. I have gone back to a simpler black border.
